This Steiner 5102 T5xi 1-5x24mm 7.62 Riflescope 3TR Reticle is a compact lightweight multi-use optic designed for use with carbines and AR type firearms. This scope is extremely versatile and can be put to use for anything from Close Quarters Battle to intermediate precision shooting. It boasts True 1X magnification, Both eyes open operation, 30mm tube, 7.62mm Rapid Dot Reticle, Capped turrets, No accidental loss of zero. The 3TR Rapid Dot reticle is a proprietary CQB reticle. It is available in the T5Xi 1x-5x24mm scopes calibrated in either 5.56mm or 7.62mm. The reticle gives the shooter holdovers out to 700 meters in 100 meter intervals. The locking diopter system is one of the top features for Steiner making it's debut in the T5Xi scopes. Steiner has used the European style quick diopter focus system since the reintroduction of Steiner scopes in 2011. This style of diopter has many advantages over the old American style lock ring diopter system still being used by many competitors. The fast focus diopter is much easier and faster way to obtain a precise focus of the reticle, however there was a tendency to accidentally turn the diopter after it had been properly set. Then new locking system prevents any accidental rotation of the diopter via a locking ring located directly in front of the diopter ring.
